My name is Rebecca Thomas and I am a co-founder of the Young Scientists Initiative program. Currently a senior at Clements High School, I am passionate about sharing my love for all areas of science with young, curious minds. I am currently an independent researcher where I study nanoparticles, pharmaceutical impacts, and biodegradable filtration mechanisms. In the future, I hope to conduct scientific research. I am also passionate about giving back to my community, music and female empowerment
